Can you wash the inside of a gas grill where the burners are with a water hose?

    I wouldn’t. I took our out on the grass, took everything out, tipped it sideways and scrubbed with a wire brush.
    Water is inviting rust and after all, there should be a layer of grease on the inside to protect from corrosion.

    Yes…. I cover the burners tightly with foil to keep the water out. Never have had a problem with it, my grill is 4 yrs old. I do lite it and let it burn the moisture off.

    i wouldn’t do that. just try closing te lid and turning the burners on for a while so that all the junk in it will get burned up. then take to grill part out (after it cools off) and wash it with a soapy washcloth.

    Yes.I’ve even used a pressure washer. Just make sure you let it dry out before using it. A day in the sun will dry everything.
